Since the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event which occurred a couple of weeks ago, Director Hajime Tabata has been giving away several additional information that were not covered before. That description is consistent with the development narrative that has been told by Platinum Games, with the studio often emphasizing in press releases that it wants NieR: Automata to redeem the original game's failures. The images captured on PS4 show some very visible jaggies basically across the whole picture, while the PS4 Pro version is much smoother. This appears to indicate a superior anti-aliasing solution on top of the difference in resolution.
